Numogram Zones Overview

The Numogram, or Decimal Labyrinth, is a ten-zone diagram built from the numerals zero through nine. In the archive's own account, its first layer is entirely arithmetical: nine-sum twinning groups the zones into five syzygies, the difference within each pair produces a current toward a tractor zone, and the digital cumulation of each zone number produces a gate whose reduction determines a channel (Decimal Numogram, p. 1). The same text then embeds those operations in Pandemonium, a fictional system of Lemurian demonism and time-sorcery. Arithmetic rule, diagram, and occult narrative are therefore distinct layers of one archive object, not independent evidence for an ancient culture.

The ten-zone field

The five nine-sum pairs are 9::0, 8::1, 7::2, 6::3, and 5::4. They distribute the ten zones across three time-systems (Decimal Numogram, p. 1):

| Region | Zones | Operation in the source | | --- | --- | --- | | Plex | 0 and 9 | The lower syzygy's current folds back into one half of itself, forming an autonomous outer-time loop. | | Time-Circuit / Torque | 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, and 8 | The three central syzygies compose an anticlockwise six-zone cycle. | | Warp | 3 and 6 | The upper syzygy's current folds back into one half of itself, forming the second autonomous outer-time loop. |

This division is structural rather than a ladder from low to high. Plex and Warp are self-looping regions, while gates and channels connect otherwise incompatible time-systems. The source calls those gates “time-holes” or secret interconnections and gives them the traffic-control role of opening and closing routes through the maze (Decimal Numogram, p. 1). This is why the zones are best read as positions in a flow diagram rather than as ten successive stages.

Currents, gates, and channels

The diagram uses two different kinds of connection:

  1. Currents arise from the difference within a nine-sum pair. They are the Numogram's primary flows and establish Plex, Torque, and Warp.
  2. Gates and channels arise from digital cumulation and reduction. They are secondary flows that knit those three regions together (Decimal Numogram, p. 1).

A worked example makes the second operation legible without adding a new doctrine. Applying the source's stated rule, Zone 7 digitally cumulates as 1+2+3+4+5+6+7 = 28; reducing 28 gives 1, so its channel runs toward Zone 1. The numerical result is a calculation from the published rule. Any demonic, ethnographic, spinal, or astronomical meaning attached to that route belongs to the surrounding theory-fiction.

The archive's zone atlas

“The Zones” describes the numerals as “cosmic zones” and says the project seeks an immanent consistency among numerical figures, arithmetic functions, and cultural associations rather than a transcendent symbolism imposed from outside (“The Zones”, p. 1). It then lays several atlases over the same ten positions: planetary sequence, gates, phases of Pandemonium, spinal levels, phonetic particles, and mesh-tags. The page's strongest navigational distinction is therefore between the stable arithmetic skeleton and the variable fictional correspondences it carries.

One such correspondence is the “Lemurian Planetwork,” which assigns the Sun and the then-nine-planet sequence to Zones 0–9 (“The Zones”, p. 2):

| Zone | Planetwork attribution | Zone | Planetwork attribution | | ---: | --- | ---: | --- | | 0 | Sun | 5 | Jupiter | | 1 | Mercury | 6 | Saturn | | 2 | Venus | 7 | Uranus | | 3 | Earth | 8 | Neptune | | 4 | Mars | 9 | Pluto |

The source presents Mercury's orbital period as the Planetwork's calendrical unit and treats the planetary bodies as distributed “hyper-intelligences” whose traces propagate through myth, coincidence, and scientific fiction (“The Zones”, p. 2). That is a description of the archive's fictional apparatus, not a verified astronomical claim; the Pluto assignment also records the planetary classification assumed when the web text was written.

How to navigate the system

For the arithmetic core, continue to the numogram, zygonovism, and the barker spiral. For regional flow, use plex, torque, and warp. For the populated occult layer, move from pandemonium to numogram demons, lemurian time, and the individual demon pages. This overview deliberately does not pretend that ten canonical per-zone wiki pages already exist: the primary zone PDFs remain directly accessible through the archive, while the wiki maps only the relations it can currently sustain.
