The second reference that is counterintuitive to people who have not been exposed to often on first encounter is obviously the simulation that's a crucial piece of machinery in this I don't think we've been there in this course yet, but it's something that I think has to be lurking in the background. And again, we'll see, you can't put the bascalist together without invoking the simulation argument, which is, in its strong form, the notion that we are almost certainly simulated inside computers.
